About the Captain:
Captain Herman
Bunch is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain who has been chasing
fish on the Chesapeake Bay and nearby Ocean waters for over 40 years. His
fishing adventures began as a young fellow who
spent every summer and most weekends at his family's cottage in Virginia
Beach. At a very early age, his father began teaching him fishing secrets
and techniques, including how to enjoy and respect the waters. Now, many
years later and a lot of experience behind him, Captain Herman knows these
waters extremely well and also knows the where, when and why of catching
any type fish.
Married, father
to four daughters and granddaddy to five grandchildren, Captain Herman is
passing along his boating
and fishing skills to all of them. He loves the water and the thrill of
catching that trophy fish as well as the excitement of watching that
“little fisherman” catching his/her first fish – no
matter what the size.
Herman stays abreast of any new tackle,
techniques and/or technology and uses a wide range of Penn reels,
including Penn Internationals,
most equipped with custom built rods.
He maintains all necessary fishing licenses, including Federal Fisheries
permits.
